While the weather is still a bit chilly and overcast, we’ve already welcomed Spring at Swankety Swank. Yabette has been hard at work with the designers to fill the shop with pretty new pieces in a variety of price ranges and sizes. We have several new designers offering one of a kind pieces for under $100. Waaayyyy under in some cases!

Welcome Bayside Boutique!
Another bright spot in the shop is one of our new designers, Bayside Boutique. A bit about the work:
“Bayside Boutique is altered couture made from salvaged and reconstructed vintage fabrics and apparel. I am currently creating little dresses built upon vintage slips and corsets. I use a lot of vintage laces, ribbons, trims, appliques, and other found adornments. Most of my pieces feature a lot of hand stitching and all are one of a kind designs. I have been designing and sewing for many years and my current inspiration and collection is mostly soft and tattered just right for fighting zombies in style or going out for cocktails when they are not around. I also include special vintage pieces found in my searches for unique and special treasures.”
With prices ranging between $50 and $90, her upcycled dresses are also a great value! Needless to say, they go fast. Luckily, she brings in new creations weekly.
