Join us as we celebrate all things curious and creative inspired by Stacy Carlson’s newly published work, Among the Wonderful.

In many shapes and forms, metamorphosis is at the core of Among the Wonderful. Pursuing this theme, the book weaves a world where upper Manhattan is still untrammeled wilderness, the Five Points is at the height of its bloody glory, and within the walls of Barnum’s museum, ancient tribal feuds play out in the midst of an unlikely community of marvels.

Beth Mullins Having a background as a biologist and landscape designer, Beth makes extensive use of plants and textures. Like a living cell, an organism, or a garden, each piece she creates is an individual unit of function.

Kathryn Bernard’s Sideshow Sharpie Art Kathryn creates fascinating illustrative detail with a sharpie pen. She’ll be exploring the sideshow and natural history of the early P.T. Barnum days.

Our latest addition is the fabulous Rebecca Sweeney! She is a painter and sculptor, who specializes in fantasy portraits and unusual themes. She’s shown internationally and her work has been published in several books and magazines…starting anew in San Francisco, she’ll have a few specifically themed paintings for Cabinet of Wonders!
