‘Form follows function’ is not a slogan with which I concur.

So says Iris Van HerpenIt makes perfect sense that this 27 years young Dutch born designer, who creates outstanding fashion as art, was an intern with Alexander McQueen in London. Her impeccable construction and successful way of making organic forms from synthetic materials is exceptional.

I personally love the stark contrast between those two designs. However the startlingly beautiful insect-like quality of this next one is the showstopper for me.
